INNOCENT PEACE (PRE- LOOK 2026)
Following the international success of "Who Kills My Freedom?," designer Isaac Yu continues to expand his artistic vision and establish his distinctive aesthetic on the global fashion stage. Yu’s menswear pre- look for the upcoming 2027 collection, "Innocent Peace," offers an early glimpse into the evolving themes, narratives, and design language that will define his next chapter. The preview was first presented at Queens Botanical Garden (QBG) as part of the 2026 Taiwan: A World of Orchid exhibition, bringing fashion and botanical art into conversation. The project has also received editorial coverage in Cosmopolitan Magazine and FAD Magazine.
Revisiting the childlike imagination and collage-inspired artistry of his previous collection, Yu introduces a new source of inspiration: the natural beauty and sculptural form of orchids. Drawing connections between fashion, nature, and historical design, the collection references the distinctive aesthetic of American fashion designer Halston. Elements of womenswear, organic orchid silhouettes, and fluid pleating are reinterpreted through a contemporary menswear perspective, creating a dialogue between softness and structure, nature and design. A vibrant palette of yellow, orange, and blue embodies optimism, creativity, and the warmth of sunshine, bringing a sense of innocence and vitality to the collection.
"Innocent Peace" invites audiences into Yu’s personal interpretation of peace—a world shaped by the purity of childhood imagination and the quiet beauty of nature. Through the delicate presence of orchids and the expressive language of children’s art, Yu envisions peace as a return to simplicity, wonder, and emotional freedom. The collection offers an imaginative escape from the complexities and pressures of contemporary society, reminding us that perhaps the most peaceful place is one where nature flourishes and the imagination remains untouched.
